Bio:
Jen Swenor is the Principal and Chief Executive Officer of the firm, specializing in corporate, partnership, trust and estate income taxation, as well as financial accounting and tax planning. She brings more than 25 years of tax and accounting experience, including over eight years with Big 6 accounting firms across the United States and Europe, prior to joining the firm in 2006.
A Vermont native, Jen began her career with Deloitte & Touche in Stamford, Connecticut, in the audit practice, where she built a strong technical foundation. She later relocated to Denver, Colorado, earning a Master of Taxation from the University of Denver’s Sturm College of Law while continuing her work in Deloitte’s Denver tax practice.
In 2002, Jen moved to the Netherlands, where she worked with Ernst & Young in the field of expatriate tax consulting and compliance. After returning to the United States, she spent time in Chicago before settling back in Vermont to be closer to family.
Jen is a licensed Certified Public Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Bryant University and a Master of Taxation from the University of Denver. She resides in Dorset with her husband and two children. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, hockey, hiking, and group fitness.
